Privacy
What data this site collects, why, and for how long.
General principle
This site sets no advertising cookie, no tracker, no third-party analytics script. There is no Google Analytics, no social network pixel, no remote font, no resource loaded from an external server. Everything is served from this machine.
Connection data
Like any web server, this one records technical information about each request in a log:
- Visitor IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Requested page and response code
- Declared browser and operating system (User-Agent)
- Referring page (Referer), if the browser sends it
These logs are used solely to keep the server secure and to produce aggregated traffic statistics. They are never sold, transferred or used for profiling.
Retention period
Logs are kept for a maximum of six months, then deleted automatically. Traffic statistics produced from these logs are aggregated and do not allow a visitor to be re-identified.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the information you enter — name, email address, message — is sent by email to the site publisher. It is not stored in any database belonging to this site.
It is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted, unless an ongoing business relationship requires otherwise.
Processors
The site is hosted by OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France), a processor established in the European Union and bound by a contract compliant with Article 28 of the GDPR. No data is transferred outside the European Union.
Third-party services
Some pages link to other sites (blog, weather, lunar calendar, L'Aparté). These are plain hyperlinks: nothing is loaded from those sites until you click. Their own privacy policies apply.
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS with an HSTS policy. Logs and technical data are protected by restricted access rights on the server.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, use the contact form.
